The very important Sugar Busters Diet

Sugar busters’ diet is an essential diet which controls the intake of sugar and other high glycemic carbohydrates to reduce the insulin level in blood. For those who want to reduce or lower the carb intake can also follow this diet.

This diet plan helps you to eliminate those foods which are off limits and then adjust and learn to eat a restricted meal. This diet helps an individual to reduce, have lower triglycerides, blood sugar and also maintains a healthy blood pressure level. The diet need not be measured and weighed but you should know what all are excluded and follow it whatsoever.

Sugar busters’ diet has some limitations on what types of food to be taken. Fruits, vegetables pulses are an integral part of this diet as they are rich in fibre and phytonutrients. This diet is low in saturated fat, thou at times our body needs some. Hence some food items allow a moderate amount of carb intakes to have a balanced meal.

Food prepared with refined sugar, white flour, and potatoes are strictly no for this particular diet follower. Fruit juice intake is allowed but only those fruits which are specified for this diet with no added sugar. Lean meat, fish, eggs, nuts, flax seeds along with olive and canola seeds are highly recommended. Low fat milk with other dairy products which has no artificial sweetning is also included in the diet list.

Following this diet need not be rigid, measured or weighed but one should be controlled and aware of whats needed to stay healthy and fit.
